Chris’s Mean Tree Services (2026) is a newly established company in Atlantic Canada, backed by 15 years of experience in tree maintenance, removal and site preparation.

Fully insured, we will work with you to develop a site plan, communicate with stakeholders (such as neighbors, developers and other members of the community), understand the local by-laws and help you maintain your property through the removal and maintenance of your foliage.

Safety is a top priority and is backed by continuous training, research and implementation of best practice in all work being completed.

Chris and team come to site fully prepared to deliver and remove standing or fallen trees, prune or thin trees and hedges, clear lots, cut boundary lines and more. Working both aerial and on the ground to provide felling, bucking, chippings & cleanup for each project.

Meet Chris

My name is Christopher Leslie, Owner of Chris’s Mean Tree Services. I have been in land survey for the past 15 years. I have 2 wonderful children and an amazing and supportive wife: my family is the most important thing to me.

I have worked across industry, acquiring the skills and expertise that I believe would give me a better understanding when it comes to this kind of work. I was a safety officer for many years and I continue to maintain high emphasis on making sure people are as safe as possible on any job site. I also have an expertise in the understanding of by-laws and boundaries; knowledge that sometimes cutting a tree along property boundaries might also mean speaking with neighbors, developers, local government and other community members.

I always believe in striving to continuously learn new things and to better oneself. The pursuit of knowledge and investment into yourself has always been very important to me and I always try to pass any of my knowledge to anyone willing to learn.
